Evidence in Medical Decision Making
Joint event (day 2) of the AHRC Contingency & Dissent in Science project at LSE and the Leverhulme Evidence Programme at UCL.
Evidence-informed medicine advocates the explicit use of current best evidence in making decisions about medical interventions. But how can we use the evidence effectively to this aim? Matt Williams, David Teira, Phil Dawid, Paul Glasziou and Julian Reiss discuss this issue from their different perspectives.
